Do not include a bibliography/works cited page.You must turn in your review the day it is due. Reviews will not be accepted more than 24 hours after the due date/time. Any review turned in after the review is due will have one letter grade deducted from the final review grade. Reviews are due via email to me at vburnes@uwa.edu. Please proofread – there will be deductions for spelling, grammar, punctuation and capitalization errors. Do not use contractions unless they are part of a formal quote. Do not use the internet to research the book. Do not use first person – use only third person. When using quotes from the book being reviewed, simply put the page number where the information is found in parentheses at the end of the sentence – (pg#). If using information from another, non-web based source, such as the textbook, use a footnote. Footnotes must be single-spaced using Turabian format, in Times New Roman 10 point font. Please ask me if you have questions about footnotes, or the review in general. The review may be submitted to TurnItIn.If plagiarism is discovered, you will be reported to the Dean and appropriate action will be taken, the least of which will be a “0” on your review, and possibly a “0” for the class along with further disciplinary action.
