How can a musical project make the most of an advanced digital strategy coupled with an essential physical presence to create a dedicated fan community?
Online presence is defined by online streaming on streaming platforms (Spotify, Deezer, etc.), social networks (Instagram, YouTube etc.), and digital album sales – especially on Bandcamp.
The physical presence is denoted by the organization of events, the sale of vinyl or merchandising related to the music (t-shirt, cap, products derived from the DJ or the label).
We place ourselves on the example of electronic music, but this can be developed to any type of music. How to developp a fan community is the main focus on today’s digital world. My hypothesis is that artist needs to leverage first a digital community – as it is less expensive to begin with – but rapidly needs to overtake the physical world. A physical community fan base is needed to thrive. The strategy beneath it is why I am making my thesis.
Where I appeal to you is in the introduction: the literature review + the reseach gap. This part must contain 16 pages, and I have already written 3 pages. This will help you to perfect my writing.
You have to write 13 pages – divided as you wish (but I advise you to write 8 pages of litterature review and 5 pages of reseach gap that you write personally) to bring the academic sources of my thesis.
